Still trying to get a hang of this new blog I set up. At times I find myself trying to craft something new to post. I am often at loss of words. Or maybe it's just my English getting rusty.
A quick recap of that happened in my life after the last time I posted something new on my blog. That was in April. Time flies fast these days. It is now June.
1) Made two trips to Singapore (business of course). Early and end of May. Although Singaporeans look at us Malaysians like vermin, I still love that place. One helluva country. Super clean. Shopping heaven. Über efficient public transportation. No car wrecking potholes on the road. I especially love the fact that Singapore has many old, beautiful trees which they maintain as a part of the town landscaping. The things I hate about Singapore? The taxi drivers who think they own the place. The traffic jam that made me want to rip my bladders out plainly because I was too cool to go pee-pee before I hopped on the taxi from my workplace in Tuas to the hotel in Orchard Road which took me a good one and a half hour because of the damn traffic (it's supposed to take only like half an hour). More pros than cons. Hm. Would definitely go to Singapore again and again and again.
2) Received invites to attend friends' weddings! Yay! Four invitations. Two invitations from my former housemates in college. Another two from my former classmates, also college. That's a lot right? Attended one in Melaka last week so one down. Three more to go. One even asked me to be the tray bearer which I agreed wholeheartedly. Need to scout for a tailor to make my dress. Phew.
3) Completed my collection of Apple products. Bought a new 13" Macbook Air for work purposes (only selected people are allowed to touch my MBA. Lay off those greasy hands). Also bought a pink sleeve and red keyboard protector to match. I have never been unsatisfied with an Apple product. This one included. I see no cons so far. I love the fact that I have to learn the OS from scratch since it differs from the conventional Windows-based interface. I find it interesting instead of tedious.
4) I've had four to five people telling me that I'm becoming more and more serious. Probably my wackiness is starting to wear off with age. Man, I can already feel myself morphing into this super boring, constantly exhausted, impatient person. I want to avoid turning into a buzzkill. But how do I do so without people taking me as a joke? Huh. I think work has finally taken its toll on me. Constantly dealing with stupid people has finally caused me some major impact mentally and physically. I find my patience wearing thin day by day. Even summing up the energy to talk & explain things has become a chore for me. Just read my blog. I even sound boring here right? Ughh. Thank goodness my boyfriend is around to make me wacky again every time I take a stroll down the boring ol' lady road.
That's it for tonight. Bed time for the ol' lady. Yawn.
